Percentage of Renewals

Have you ever wondered how much your patrons are renewing materials? Here is a report that gives you an idea...

Using data from the last 12 months (Aug 5th 2014-Aug 4th 2015), this spreadsheet will show the percentage of total circulation that comes from renewals. There are two tables, one sorted by library and one sorted by percentage.

New Custom Report

 I am pleased to announce, following my training in writing custom reports, I have developed a custom report that will list the top circulating items in the library: Monthly Top Circ Items.

The report will rank the top fifty items that circ’d in the previous month (running the report on April 16th will consider all items that were checked out from March 1st through March 31st).

Holds not appearing on Send List even when copies are available.  This is probably because I just did a bunch of database maintenance. The system doesn’t allow one to remove items with holds, but it does allow those items to be moved from a Current Location that is holdable, to a Current Location that is not. This means that if the system randomly assigned the hold to a copy that was LongOverdue, Claims Returned, Withdrawn, etc.
