Today’s Topic: Suspending and UNsuspending holds for patrons in WorkFlows.

Truly, the easiest way to suspend and unsuspend holds is in the public catalog; however, one doesn't always have that option. And, as any good Scout knows, it is always better to be prepared with a backup plan!  Suspending a hold in WF is pretty straightforward, but when it comes to un-suspending? That's a different story!.....

Today’s Topic: Topic suggestions, and don't forget  ALL-WALS August 30th!

Yes, we have an ALL-WALS this month, on the 30th in the Silver Creek Room at Ripon Public Library!  Please Register.  Msses K & M assure the public their production will be second to none!

I also need you to put on your thinking caps and send me some more suggestions for 1) ALL-WALS Agenda items, and 2) Topics for Monday 'Minders.  I am sure there are plenty, I just can't think of them when needed.

Today’s Topic: Why can't I find that title I just withdrew? And other search tips.

You are weeding and withdraw your copy of "The Most Useless Book Ever" along with some others.  But, you get curious--how many times did it actually circulate?--and go to look it up again. You open Item Search in WorkFlows and browse for "Most Useless" and nothing comes up.  What gives??   Read More...
