Some of you have asked why you're seeing patrons who are still in COLLECTION status even after paying off all items that set them to Collections, and/or having fines under $5.
This is because the COLLECTION status is only cleared when absolutely all fines are paid off; the patron needs to have a balance of $0.00. You can either override to check them out, or you can manually clear from from Collections by canceling all fines on their account, waiting 15 minutes (sometimes it takes that long for the change to be picked up, but other times it seems to happen quicker), and, when you see that they are no longer in COLLECTIONS, manually re-adding the fines using the Bill User wizard (if you so desire).
