Wisconsin's statewide public library marketing cohort, in collaboration with SWRLAA, released an advocacy campaign called "Speak Up for Libraries." We hope this campaign will run through the fall, in tandem with the continued work to advocate for IMLS, whose legislation is up for renewal from Congress in October, and to support the libraries and library systems at a state level during the state budget process.

A toolkit for library staff is available at https://libraries.work/

This toolkit gives you the words and ideas you need to empower your staff, board, and community to advocate for Wisconsin libraries. It's a dynamic website, so check back for updates. On this page you'll find:

  • weekly actions
  • key talking points
  • social media and communication resource hub
  • examples from libraries and systems

Salutations!

Until we can update all the references to Damaged, Claims Returned, Missing Content and MISSHOLD, here is a link to the July 29th ALL-WALS.  There you will find the New Winnefox Procedures and Flowcharts as well as the PIF and templates of the RBS and W&T stickers.

Don't know what PIF, RBS, or W&T stand for? Follow the link and find out! :-)

As always: Please share with your staff!
Make today a good day!
