New Section Under WALS

The WALS section of the Extranet has a new category: Tutorials.

This category will be used to link to guides, FAQs, and other demonstrations of new or changed functions in WorkFlows, or useful hints and tips with existing functions.

Currently, the category has pages on the Cash Management module of WorkFlows, the MobileCirc app, and a guide to Offline Circulation in WorkFlows in the event of Internet outage.

WorkFlows Reports Update

The REPORTS login has too many Finished Reports. It is very difficult and time consuming to find the report you are looking for in the REPORTS login because there are so many old finished reports hanging around. Therefore, we are implementing some changes on how and what reports will be saved in Finished Reports in WorkFlows.

Removing Patrons--Dead or Alive!

There has always been some confusion about what to do with patrons whom you are sure are never coming back into your library or who ask to have their record removed. Perhaps they moved to Turkmenistan, perhaps they died, perhaps both.  The procedure for dealing with these patron records has changed in the past year or two. Here is the current procedure:

Use Modify User to edit the patron record.
