Issue Checking Out Overdrive Holds in Catalog--FIXED!

The issue that Keetra posted about in March has been resolved.  Patrons can now check out the Overdrive items they have on hold. This was fixed in early April.

In mid April, we also added the Overdrive checkout/hold feature to the Favorites page.

The catalog integration of Overdrive continues to be very popular. 

Issue Checking Out Overdrive Holds in Catalog

It has come to our attention that there is a problem with checking out Overdrive holds through the catalog.  When you click "Checkout" on the title, you may receive a couple possible error messages:
"An error has occurred: Record Does Not Exist"
OR
"Sorry, we could not checkout this title to you. There are currently no copies available."
(The exact error seems to depend on which page you are accessing your holds from, the Holds page or the View All page.  Neither will produce success.) 

State of Statistics Report

Here is an update on the current state of the statistics reports:

  • We have a work around.  For the foreseeable future, all daily and monthly statistics reports that run for all libraries will be in this new format—all combined into one report with the libraries as the columns and the Item Type/User Cat/ItemCat, etc as the rows.
