What's New for Member Libraries

New Art Group

At the Coloma Public Library, we have a relatively new group that is meeting. They are the called the "Art Coop". They meet weekly Wednesday's at 1:30pm. They started out sketching, now they progressed to watercolor. Sometimes the more experienced painters challenge the group. We have had 25 individuals try us out, now we have 13 active members. Great time is had by all at each meeting. ☺

3D Printing

The Brandon Library purchased a 3D printer. With this new technology that is rapidly growing, we knew that now is the time. No one knows what will come in the future, but to educate patrons on how 3D printing works, what it is, how to use it, what the potential is, and what to expect in the future, we're hosting workshops. After the workshop, a patron will know the basics on designing their own 3D object or how to search and download a ready-to-use model and how to use our printer.

Successful Fundraiser

Numerous supporters of the Campbellsport Public Library donated 66 wonderful handmade items to our 2nd annual artistic fundraiser. All the items were sold and the Library profited over $2,200. We can't wait to purchase new items for patrons to borrow.
