Serving Patrons with Differing Abilities

This diversity training will help you break down "fear barriers" when working with individuals with varying abilities/special needs.
Presenters will discuss:
- Do's and Don'ts when working with patrons with physical and mental disabilities
 - Etiquette tips and using people-first language
 - Demonstrate assistive devices libraries can provide for patron use
 - Interacting with patrons who are disabled and may require assistance
 - Best practices for dealing with behavioral issues
