Technology Day Workshop
We're offering a variety of technology sessions, all in one day! You, your staff, and trustees are invited to attend.

Technology Day is chock full of good stuff for you to learn & take back to your library. Here's the line-up:
8:30 - 9am — registration and coffee
9 - 9:15am — orientation
9:15 - 11:15 am — Wisconsin's own MacGyver Guys will provide an entertaining and informative session that will showcase free or almost free practical applications, tools, and devices to help you and your patrons discover new ways to use technology for work and play. What are a few items? How about creating your own 3D scanner, extending the range of your computer with a soup can, or maybe taking a walk with some dinosaurs. There will be prizes for some, and knowledge for all. You’ve paid for the whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge. 11:15 am - Noon — DPI's Coding Initiative in Wisconsin Public Libraries will increase awareness of the whys and hows of coding for library staff and library users of all ages. The project will demonstrate the role of public libraries in learning and use of technology, and increase resource sharing and continuing education collaboration among and between regional library systems. 11:45am - 1pm — lunch; pay onsite for a catered lunch or BYO.
