National Library Week activities at Montello Public Library!

Come in and join us at the Montello Library for activities all week long for National Library Week! Can you guess how many books are in our library? Closest guess will win a prize. Let us know why you love the library and be entered into a drawing. Kids come on in and pick up your Culver's drawing sheet, and celebrate your favorite book by drawing a picture about it. Give your completed drawing sheet to the librarian, and you'll win a certificate for a FREE single scoop of Culver's Frozen Custard.

New Art Group

At the Coloma Public Library, we have a relatively new group that is meeting. They are the called the "Art Coop". They meet weekly Wednesday's at 1:30pm. They started out sketching, now they progressed to watercolor. Sometimes the more experienced painters challenge the group. We have had 25 individuals try us out, now we have 13 active members. Great time is had by all at each meeting. ☺

3D Printing

The Brandon Library purchased a 3D printer. With this new technology that is rapidly growing, we knew that now is the time. No one knows what will come in the future, but to educate patrons on how 3D printing works, what it is, how to use it, what the potential is, and what to expect in the future, we're hosting workshops. After the workshop, a patron will know the basics on designing their own 3D object or how to search and download a ready-to-use model and how to use our printer.
