Explore the Science of Reading with PBS LearningMedia
- Exploring the Science of Reading: Bridging Theory and Practice With Media Examples is a three-part course in which participants learn the foundational concepts of the science of reading; recognize the importance of using evidence-based practices in reading instruction; view videos and resources that illustrate best practices for teaching reading; and reflect on how to implement the strategies in their classrooms. Module 1 provides an in-depth overview of the Science of Reading. Module 2 takes a deep dive into word recognition, and Module 3 delves into language comprehension.
