Nancy Zieman, the host of the long-time running PBS show "Sewing with Nancy," is slated to speak about her new autobiography, "Seams Unlikely" at the Winneconne Public Library on Thursday, April 10 starting at 6:30.
Nancy Zieman, who now lives in and operates her business, "Nancy's Notions," out of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, actually grew up in our backyard in the small town of Winchester just 5 miles northeast of Winneconne. Nancy's upcoming visit is generating a lot of excitement amongst Winneconne area residents and library patrons - many of whom know Nancy personally or are friends with one of her close family members.
Nancy will begin her visit with a Power Point presentation at 6:30pm and brief talk about her book, followed by a book-signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the Winneconne Public Library for $15 each, with proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Winneconne Public Library. Anyone is welcome to attend!
