CE Scholarship Fund 2024-205 Request Form
Winnefox offered competitive scholarships to support costs for library staff attendance at continuing education events with 2024-2025 funds, including:
Summer Conferences - applications closed
- Play Make Learn Conference, Madison, July 18-19, 2024
- Scholarship up to $350
- Up to 3 awards announced July 1
Fall Conferences - apply by date listed below
- Back in Circulation Conference, Madison, October 7-8, 2024
- Scholarship up to $300
- Application open: July 11 - September 6
- Up to 2 awards announced on September 9
- Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) Conference, Green Bay, November 5-8, 2024
- Scholarship up to $450
- Application open: July 11 - September 26
- Up to 8 awards announced on September 27
Winter/Spring Conferences - apply by March 1, 2025
- Lead the Way: Libraries at the Heart of Community Engagement Conference, Madison, April 21-22, 2025
- Scholarship up to $300
- Application open: December 1 - March 1
- Up to 2 awards announced March 2
- Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries (WAPL) Conference, Oshkosh, May 2025
- Scholarship up to $450
- Application open: December 1 - March 1
- Up to 8 awards announced March 2

This is a competitive scholarship opportunity. We will award scholarships based on:

Financial need

Depending on demand, first time attendance and individuals/libraries who have not received a scholarship in the recent past will be given priority

Answer to how the opportunity will benefit the individual, library, and community

Winnefox will reimburse the library or individual for expenses up to the total value of the scholarship after the event. Any expenses beyond the scholarship amount are the responsibility of the individual library.

Please note, if an individual receives personal reimbursement for the expense they will need to fill out a W-9 form. If reimbursement in one calendar year to a single individual totals more than $600, income from the scholarship is taxable.
