Small Library Summit for WALS & OWLSnet Libraries

Location: Appleton Public Library (map, directions, and parking info)

Register by contacting Mark Arend at

This Small Library Summit is intended to bring together directors of the smallest libraries from WALS and OWLSnet to talk about resource sharing.

"Small” is defined as a library or a branch in a municipality with a population of less than 3,000.  Libraries from larger communities are welcome to attend.

We would like directors from at least five small libraries from each consortium to attend.  The meeting will be rescheduled if we do not have have enough small libraries represented.

Winnefox will pay WALS libraries' mileage, and a complimentary lunch will be served.

The ILS committee is meeting at 9:30am and you are invited to attend that as well.

If you're not able to attend but have questions or concerns, contact one of our WALS representatives to have it brought up.  Representatives are:

  • Fond du Lac: Desiree
  • Green Lake: Linda
  • Marquette: Aaron
  • Waushara: Sandy
  • Winnebago: Gretchen
