WinneFUN Event

Join staff from Winnefox libraries for a morning of informal discussion and conversation about topics you want to know about.

The idea is to bring together staff for an enjoyable morning of exchanging ideas. It's not just for directors or department heads; it's open to any staff person at any library in the Winnefox Library System.

It's NOT a workshop, and it's NOT a conference. And there will be NO PowerPoint slides - yay!

So what WILL it be?

• A loosely-structured event, with an emphasis on a fun & informal exchange of information & ideas between participants.
• If you've attended a conference but gotten more value out of hallway conversations than from listening to a "sage on the stage", we're aiming for that experience.
• It'll be a no-anxiety event, unscripted and somewhat spontaneous.

Here are ways you and your staff can be a part of WinneFUN:

• ask about stuff you want to know
• bring a cool project you can "show & tell"
• ask a "big question" to spur discussion
• pick the brains of staff who are doing cool things you'd like to do at your library too

It's about conversations, not presentations.
