Description:
Winnefox Cooperative Technical Services (WCTS) provides cooperative materials purchasing and processing for the nineteen libraries within Waushara, Green Lake, and Marquette counties. WCTS also provides CD and DVD reconditioning, barcoding and processing of library materials, weeding consultation, and workdays for on-site help and consultation for special projects.

Funding for WCTS comes directly from the counties of Waushara, Green Lake, and Marquette.

Some WCTS services are available to non-WCTS Winnefox libraries at a charge.

Staff at WCTS can recondition a library's CDs & DVDs. The Protect-O-Disc machine will buff and polish discs to remove scratches and abrasions.

As budgets tighten, sometimes libraries have great ideas for special projects but no way to fund them. This grant will assist WCTS libraries by funding the projects that cannot be funded out of the library’s regular budget.

$28,500 over 3 years has been allocated for this grant program by the WCTS Executive Committee and the Winnefox Library System Board.
