Empowering the Library Board, Trustees and Other Volunteers to Serve as Effective Development Ambassadors workshop registration form

ImageDate: Monday March 15, 2010
Time: 4 - 8 pm

Location: Winneconne Public Library (map & driving directions)

This workshop is open to library board trustees, volunteers, friends, and other interested parties. (The session for library staff is on March 16, 2010.)

A light supper will be served.

Library staff members often wish their board members; trustees and other volunteers took a more active role in the fundraising and development process. Most Board members and volunteers wish fundraising was not even on the list of board responsibilities!

This workshop will provide Board members and volunteers with specific examples, role plays and other tools needed to understand the power of thoughtful development and carve out ways to play an active role in the process that they enjoy.

With the right understanding of the development process, staff and board members can identify and take actions that will facilitate the thoughtful relationships with others needed for development success.

Join professional speaker and development consultant, Marcy Heim, on a journey around an artful cycle of successful development.

This program is jointly sponsored by Winnefox Library System & Outagamie Waupaca Library System.
