Annual Statistics

This page includes basic annual summary statistics for all WALS libraries.  For specialized reports like Resident/Non-Resident borrowing, YTD,  or circ by Dewey range, please check the Special Reports page.

  • Circ by Item Cat1 - Total annual circ by Item Cat1, showing all Item Cat 4s (CIRC and INHOUSE). Each library has its own tab
  • Circ by Home Loc - Total annual circ by Home Location, showing all Item Cat 4s (CIRC and INHOUSE). Each library has its own tab
  • Circ by User Cat1 - Total annual circ by User Cat1, showing all Item Cat 4s (CIRC and INHOUSE). Each library has its own tab.

2017

All reports open in Excel

  • Circ by ICat1 x ICat2, by Month - Circ by ItemCat1 and ItemCat2, for each month of 2017 (months are numeric, 1=January, etc). Each library has its own sheet.
  • Circ by Library by Month - Total circ for each library, by month.
  • Circ by Item Cat1 - Circ by ICat1, split out by library. Each sheet is split out by ItemCat4, so you can see any circ of INHOUSE items.
  • Circ by Item Cat2 - Circ by ICat2, split out by library. Also broken out by ICat4 so you can see circ of INHOUSE items.
  • Circ by Home Loc - Circ by Home Loc, split out by checkout library. Also broken out by ItemCat4 so you can see circ of INHOUSE items.
  • Circ by User Cat1 - Circ by UserCat1, split out by checkout library. Also broken out by ItemCat4 so you can see circ of INHOUSE items.
  • Circ by User Profile - Circ by UserProfile, split out by checkout library. Also broken out by ItemCat4 so you can see circ of INHOUSE items.
  • Circ Total by Library - Total annual circ for each library, broken out by ItemCat4 so you can see circ of INHOUSE items
  • Count of Items by ICat1 - Total number of items owned, by ICat1
  • Count of Items by Home Loc - Total number of items owned, by Home Loc
  • Count of Users by UCat1 - Total number of users, active in the last 3 years, by UCat1

2016

These are the official 2016 annual statistics, and supercede any previous versions. 

All reports open in Excel.

    • Circ by Item Cat 1, 2 by Month- Circ by Item Cat 1 and Item Cat 2 (Juv, Adult, Teen, etc)--for each month of 2016.  Months are numeric (ie 1=January).  Each library has own tab on spreadsheet.  Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ by Library by Month - Each Month's total circ for each library. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ by Item Cat1 - Circulation by ItemCat1 and Library. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ by Item Cat 2 - Circ by Item Cat 2 (Juv, Adult, Teen, etc).  Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ by Home Location - Circulation by Checkout Library and Item Home Location. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4..
    • Circ by User Cat1 - Circulation by Checkout Library and User Cat1. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ by User Profile - Circulation by Checkout Library and User Profile. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • Circ Total by Library - Total Annual Circ for each library. Also breaks out by Item Cat 4 so you can eliminate INHOUSE use, and so that it includes any circ of items w/o an Item Cat 4.
    • NetLender/NetBorrower -- In addition to showing net lender and net borrower information, this report also shows the amount of circulation that occurs from the owining library's collection and the amount that comes from other libraries.  

    • Count of Items by Item Cat1 - Total number of items owned, by ItemCat1
    • Count of Items by Home Location -- Total number of items owned, by Home Location
    • Count Users 3yr -- Total number of users, by User Library and UCat1, who have been active in the last three years.
