Memories are vivid and fun to share. They include sounds and smells, as well as sights and events. The Games of Life in video cassette or slide/tape format explores the fun of a lifetime, encourages a vote for a favorite game, and suggests that it's never too late to have fun. There's something about school days at the turn of the century-walking two miles to school, carrying a lard pail packed with lunch, beginning with opening exercises, and closing with "class dismissed." Memories of that something come rushing back when people hear or sing this song: "School days, school days, dear old Golden Rule days." The Great Slate Escape is a short slide/tape presentation in the kit. Additional materials are a sing-along tape and a booklet with enlargements from old textbooks and songbooks.

Remembering The Home Front
Three generations of Americans now living have been directly affected by World War II. This kit is designed to bring together grandparents and parents and children to focus on what it was like to live in the United States from December 1941 through August 1945. A slide/tape program, Stars on the Home Front brings back the sights and sounds of the war years. Other realia included in the kit are a ball of tin foil, a hand-rolled bandage, a toy soldier, a military insignia, and a sample of knitting done for the Red Cross.
