Locating Titles of Holds Ready for Pickup

  1. Click the Checkout wizard.
  2. Search for the borrower.
  3. Click OK if the User Alerts window displays.

    NOTE: The User Alerts window will not display if the user has bills, claims returneds, etc. The boxes for these messages supercede the hold alerts window.
  4. Click on the word A L E R T S in the upper left hand corner of the checkout window. (The word 'ALERTS' is in red type and is underlined.)
  5. A white glossary box appears. Click on the words holds available. (The words 'holds available' appear in red type and are underlined with a blue line.)
  6. A window opens that lists the titles of the items that are waiting to be picked up.
  7. Click on the word (a v a i l a b l e) to display a glossary screen that retrieves information about that particular hold, such as pickup location, the date the notice was sent, and the date the item will be removed from the hold shelf.
  8. Click on the glossary screen to close it.
  9. Click Return to Checkout.
