Use the Check Item Status wizard to display the status of an item, where the item is shelved, or whether it should be put in transit or is needed to fill a hold.
- Click the Check Item Status wizard

- Scan the item's barcode and click Check Status.

- Information about the item, a proposed action, and the current location of the item is displayed. In this case, click Put Item In Transit.
- The status window displays the library to which the item is being sent and the user at that library who will have the item on hold. Click OK.

- Wand in the barcode of the next item to be checked and click Check Status.

- The status window displays the information that this item is checked out. Click Check Another Item.

- The cursor returns to the Item ID box. All of the items checked display in the List of Items Checked window. This section displays the title, Item ID, and proposed route/transit action.
If an item has a hold on it, the H glossary displays to the right of the route/transit information.
If an item is in transit or should be put in transit, the T glossary displays to the right of the route/transit information.
Selecting the H or T glossary displays information about the hold or transit.
