Receive Items In Transit Wizard

The Receive Items in Transit wizard takes items in transit to your library out of transit.

  1. Click the Receive Item in Transit wizard .



  2. Scan the item's barcode, and click OK.



  3. The List of Items Received displays the title, item ID and route/transit information about the items. Click OK to scan in the next item.

    EXAMPLE: Item returning to the stacks.



    EXAMPLE: Item going on hold at the library transiting in.



    EXAMPLE: Item is needed at another library to fill a hold.



    (Click Put Item in Transit)



    (Click OK)
  4. When you click OK on any of the screens above, the cursor returns to the Item ID box. The List of Items Received area displays the title, Item ID, and routing/transit action (see example below).

 

If an item has a hold on it, the H glossary displays to the right of the route/transit information.

If an item is in transit or should be put in transit, the T glossary displays to the right of the route/transit information.

Selecting the H or T glossary displays information about the hold or transit.
