Outlook Tips - Add New Contacts Quickly

 

If you receive an e-mail message from a person whom you want to add to your Outlook contact list, here's a quick way to do it.

How to:

First, open the e-mail message that contains the name you want to add to your contact list:

In the From box, right-click the name you want to make into a contact, and then click Add to Contacts on the Shortcut menu:

After clicking that, you will see a new contact entry form. You will notice that the name, and email address areas are filled in for you:

From here, you can add any other information you wish, such as a phone or fax number. Once you are completed, you can click the Save and Close button to save it in your Contacts folder for easy access.
