When Microsoft Outlook was first setup, we had it checking new mail coming from the exchange server, as well as old mail from the Alpha. Since the old email accounts have been disabled, it's time to remove Outlook's ability to check that old mail.

How to:

While in Microsoft Outlook, click on Tools and then Services:

After clicking that, you will see the following screen shot:

Now, make sure Internet E-mail is highlighted. If it's not, click on it to highlight it.

Click the Remove button. It will now ask you if you are sure you want to remove it, say Yes. This should remove that entry from the list.

Click OK. This should bring you back to Outlook. You may need to quit out of Outlook, and restart it for this change to take effect.
