Outlook - Basic ManualCalendar Schedule Events Youcan use Outlook Calendar to schedule events and annual events. An event is any activity that lasts one day or more. Examples include trade shows, vacations, and multi-day seminars. An annual event is something that happens the same day year after year, such as a birthday, holiday, or anniversary. Outlook calls these annual events a recurrence. How to: Create a new Appointment. On the button bar, click the Recurrence button in the middle:
All you need to do is fill out the information in this box to set up when, and how often you want this event to repeat. Please note that these recurring events do not show up in the time area of the calendar. It shows up at the top of the day as a banner:
