Outlook - Basic ManualCalendar Opening the Calendar You can enter and track appointments, meetings, and tasks using the Calendar. You can use the calendar in conjunction with other components of Outlook to help manage all of your information. The default view of the calendar displays three distinct sections. The scheduling area displays time slots for appointments for the current date and appears next to the Outlook Bar. The Date Navigator appears in the top right corner and displays two calendar months in traditional calendar format with the current date outlined in red. The TaskPad appears below the Date Navigator and works in conjunction with the Tasks component of Outlook. The TaskPad is a to-do list that displays tasks you have entered and can be sorted by icon, completion, or task name. How to: You can open the calendar by clicking on the Calendar button on the Outlook Bar:
