Outlook - Basic ManualInbox Replying to Messages You can choose to reply to the sender of the message, or to the sender and all other message recipients. How to: Click the message you want to reply to. Click the Reply button:
When you do that, you will see a screen similar to what you saw when you created a new message. The differences are that when you reply to a message, Outlook automatically fills in the To field. Also, it copies the Subject field and places Re: in front of it. This just means it is Regarding the previous message. The last thing it does is puts the original message body below where you would type your response. Once you are done typing your message, just click Send:
When you reply to a message, a red left-pointing arrow appears attached to the envelope symbol next to the message in your Inbox folder. The Reply to All button replies to everyone the message was originally sent to:
