Save MessagesInbox Saving Unfinished Messages What happens if you start a message, and you would like to finish it later? Easy, just save it. Saving a message is just like saving a document in any other Microsoft Office program. How to: In the upper left hand corner of the Message window, click the Save button:
When you do that, the message is saved into the Drafts folder and not sent. Once done, close out of the message. When you want to go back and work on that message again, click on the Inbox button on the Outlook Bar:
Then, click on the word Inbox above your messages:
You will see a list of all the folders available.Click on Drafts. You should see your message now towards the top of the screen. Double click on the message to reopen it, so you can finish the message. Once you are finished, click the Send button.
