Outlook - Basic ManualOverview Microsoft Outlook is a comprehensive desktop information management program. You can use Outlook as a central inbox for all of your internal and external e-mail messaging systems. You can also use it to manage your contacts, to organize your calendar and schedule your activities. How to: Click the Start button, click Programs, and then click Microsoft Outlook. Once you start Outlook, the first screen you see should be similar to the one below:
On the left hand side of the screen is the Outlook Bar. The Outlook Bar is where you access all the parts of Outlook such as messages, schedules, task lists, and notes. Simply move the mouse over the item you want and click. You can quit Outlook by clicking the Close button on the application windows title bar (the X in the upper right hand corner).
